Free software, what's up with that?

byLight Technologies freeware applications are sponsored by advertisers. If you have an interest in the product or service being promoted, you may choose to click on the ad.  If you do, the advertiser's web page will automatically appear in your default browser.

At any time you can choose to register (remove the ads) for a small fee.   In addition to having the ads removed, registering also entitles you to free technical support.  Note that all features are enabled in both the freeware and registered versions.

Top I heard your software uses Radiate/Aureate ad software.  Is it true?

There were a couple of days where version 2.2 of 20/20 did contain the Radiate ad software (04/04/2000-04/07/2000).  However, as of 04/10/2000 it was removed for reasons that can be found here. All freeware versions of our software now contain our own proprietary ad software.

Top What kind of software do you have?

We currently have 1 product (we gotta start somewhere): 20/20, an image viewing, capture, and annotation application.

Top What kind of programs are you working on?

Our company is currently focusing in the area of graphic applications as well as various Windows and Internet utilities.  Of course we're always open to suggestions.

Top What do I need to run your software?

All of byLight Technologies applications are targeted to run under Microsoft Windows 32 bit family of operating systems (95, 98, and NT).  Other than that, each application will have its own memory and speed requirements.

Top Technical Support, is there any?

Yes.  For registered users only.  Non-registered users may visit our user support forum at:
http://www.ezboard.com
Enter "bylightsupport" where it says "jump to ezboard community".   Or click on the direct link:

You will find a support forum for each byLight application.

Top I found a bug, what should I do?

Bummer, lets get that fixed right away.   First, we ask that you check the bug list on the relevant product page.  If the bug appears on the bug list, you don't have to do anything.  If not, refer to the contact page for detailed instructions on how to submit a bug report.

Top Do you take suggestions?

Sure do.  We appreciate suggestions for both new products as well as enhancements to existing products.  Please see the contact page for instructions on how to submit a suggestion.
