About byLight Technologies Ad Software Beginning April 10th, 2000, the ad software used by the freeware versions of our applications, is our own proprietary ad software. The ads that are displayed are included in the installation file that you download. At no time does our ad software communicate over the Internet to exchange information with an ad server. Our old proprietary ad software did require the ads be rotated every 30 days. This logic has been removed in the current version of our ad software. Because the ad rotation logic has been removed from our proprietary ad software, you will see the same 3 or 4 ads that were initially downloaded. Unless of course, you choose to have the ads removed by registering the application that displays the ads. Tampering with, or removing the associated ad files violates the byLight Technologies license agreement. |
